The grade is known as Broken Pekoe (BP) which consists of reddish leaf left over after manufacturing the main tea grades.

The demand for this tea from Pakistan and Afghanistan has been there for decades. Although this grade has about 8-9% of stalk and fiber, it gives a rich taste and smooth cup. We also blend this grade with OP tea giving it that extra taste for the OP blend.
