Black Tea Exports (Pvt) Ltd, with its in-depth experience in the tea industry is recognized as one of Sri Lanka’s leading exporters of pure Ceylon tea. Established in 1993 by an expert tea taster with the aim of making Ceylon Black tea the world’s favourite natural beverage, the company now earns an annual turnover of USD 4 million.

World renowned for its aroma and taste, the history of Ceylon tea dates back several centuries. And local industry continues to produce high quality tea staying at the forefront of the world tea market. And it is with this solid base that we offer our teas to the world as we specialize in the export of packed bulk tea packs and tea bags under company brands or as private labels to our international customers. Exporting to Chile, Iraq, Iran, Russia, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Kosovo, Turkey, Venezuela, Libya, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Dubai, China, Macedonia, Greece, Kuwait, Uruguay, South Korea, Yemen, Canada, Pakistan, Cyprus and Estonia, we are continuously looking to expand our global reach. Our tea tasters select the best tea for our customers at the Sri Lanka’s Tea Auction Centre, the largest tea auction in the world (selling 6 million kilograms a week, on average).
